For individuals living in developing countries, clean water can change everything. Access to clean water means education, income and health – especially for women and kids. We at HIF work with our experts to find the best solution possible to cater clean drinking water to the underprivileged.
HIF’s RO plant installation project made clean drinking water accessible and affordable for hundreds of underprivileged people in the area with the objective to ensure good health.
• Plant installed in Shanti Nagar School – providing clean water to children attending school to reduce absenteeism caused due to deteriorating health
• Plant installed in Shanti Nagar Community – providing clean water for the community use throughout the day
Residents of Mehmoodabad only had access to tap water prior to the installation of the plant, the tap water that was
being used earlier was not only unfiltered and dirty but also extremely unhygienic.
• 4 plants have been installed in the vicinity to provide safe drinking water to all residents.
Hamid Ismail Foundation has installed a total of 11 water filtration plants, some of the areas include Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Khaji Ground, Shanti Nagar, Mehmoodabad, Federal B. Area as well as Karimabad. HIF further aims to achieve a target of 90 filtration plants all across Karachi.
